Yeah yeah yeah I know. Not another one of these guys..... well mine doesn't fix

Replaced everything. By everything I do mean everything. ECU Registers a Signal. Changed Clusters. Replaced Sensors. Nada.
2g's are electronic, not cable.

Here's my question.
I've replaced everything I know to do. I've taken it to shops. By shops I do mean a Mitsu shop a Chrystler shop, and 3 smaller shops around town. No one knows how to fix it. My theory, ECU recieves but doesn't send. And only for my speedo/odometer. Nothing else is wrong with my car (related). Does this mean I need to replace my ECU? I bought the car in feb and it hasn't worked since I've owned it.

It'll be a little while before I can try out any ideas y'all offer since my car is on jackstands awaiting my turbo. But I'd like to do what I have to while It's not moving and I've got the time.

It could be as simple as a loose or corroded terminal or broken wire from the ecu area to the cluster, it's hard to tell without being at the car.

Sounds like you've already done the sender end, have you checked the contacts behind the cluster? Try scrubbing them with an eraser.

Yeah, we cleaned them also. Followed the wires as far back as I could also to see if it was grounding out someone also. Didn't see anything. I'll try cleaning again maybe I just didn't clean them well enough last time, or maybe there's a film from the brake clean the shop used to clean them *shrug*
