Hooked up Apexi TT today and started the vehicle. SAFC powers up but the throttle percentage and RPM readings aren't reading correctly. On start up it said 1900 rpm and the tach was showing 1000 (which I know is correct). Throttle % was like 10%. Revved it up and it went to 2600 rpm and 27% and stuck there. What did I do? I figure a wire may have messed up somewhere but I soldered them all at the ECU so I know it can't be those.

The ones I did today were the O2 voltage wire and O2 ground (doing the TT). Were these the correct wires?

I think my SAFC is keeping memory. Like it sticks at the highest point I hit. Shut it off and restart and it reads correct again until I rev.

I am from Western KY just north of Bowling Green. Come help me!! LOL :sneaky:

do you guys have a manual for the safc?

1. yes its in memory mode, it records the highest point. Its gonna keep doin it until you get out of that mode, you dont need to keep shutting off the car.

2. For the rpms double what its supposed to, do you have it set as a 2cyl or a 4 cylinder car in the settings menu? Change that.

Okay, I feel pretty dumb now. LOL Here's what I did. When I was at the monitor screen (showing RPM, THROTTLE %), these were highlighted. I press the down button and they "un-highlight" and read correct.

So what I have learned today:

Highlighted = Memory (sticks at highest value)
Un-highlighted = Accurate

Hope this helps you out. I didn't have a manual with mine, I got it off ebay.
