ECU question

Hi all I was wondering if an ECU from a 98 eagle talon esi would be compatible with my 97 eagle talon esi because my ECU is starting to die I think

If there both the same transmission type, then yes. Swapping transmissions or turbo to n/a will not work.

The swap was unsucessful I pulled the ECU out and placed it in my car made shure everything was properly hooked up and went to start it and all I got was the starter ni egnition strage but well it was worth a failed atempt thank's anyway fo the help 97 and 98 ecu not compatible by all means.

They are...sure its from the exact same car as yours and its not leaking?

Like I've said before, the reason I'm trying to swap ECU is because mine is causing my car to stall at random. I've posted this before but with success so this is why I'm trying to swap ECU the car closest to mine is a 98 Talon auto esi mine is a 97 Talon auto esi I swapped the ECU and got no start up. so what does leaking have to do with anything dealing with the ECU??????
