Are you trying to replace it or adjust it?

There is a bracket that when i got the car some dumb ass didnt put on so. i just have the loct nut now and not the adjuster. but what i did was manually adjusted it with a crow bar and tighted the screw it seemed to be holding well but i still wana get that bracket. i took it for a test run and the battery light never came on so it might be cool. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :thumb: :thumb:

does anyone have a pic of this where it is located. i cant tighten my belt and from the searches this must be my problem. where can i locate one, can i make one, or if anyone has a belt size as to bypass it altogether

thanx

The bolt is on the top bracket that the alt is on. The bracket is right underneath the IM. If no body posts a pic by tomorrow, i'll take one before I come to work (I work 2nd shift).

yea that would be helpful. thanx in advance i have the bottom bolt and the lock bolt thats it. from the searches i must of lost the tensioner screw/bolt what is the part number for this bolt? seems like a common prob to lose it
