Are these exhaust problems killing performance ALOT?!

A couple months ago I did a 5k launch on my gsx which I havent done because I been waiting for my clutch to break in. After the launch I hear this POP sound and suddenly my exhaust tone is ALOT louder and alot more raspy. I ignored it untill one day Im sitting at a light with my friend behind me and he tells me theres something in my exhaust. I pulle over and find my sound deadening stuffing from the Greddy Evo exhaust was clogging my whole tip and inwards. I proceeded to pull out as much as I could and noticed that the Pipe inside my muffler was no long supported by the padding so it just hung free. After a couple more days I noticed that while in one spot my car smelled alot like exhaust gas. I looked under the car and found that my cat was letting out some gas, and so was my downpipe.

My ricer ass figured "hey more airflow why waste my money now im broke anyway". Then today after a hard drive I noticed that my car wasnt pulling at all. After boost came on it pretty much choked, which I never experianced before. It would actually pull best from 1-4krpm then 4-7krpm. Next thing I notice is that my idle has been at 3k at every stoplight. My egts were at 1300*F just cruising at 2k rpm.

My friends suggested that my exhaust system is clogged and the cat blew up and is blocking it off.

What does everyone think this problem is?!?!?


On a side note: i recently replaced my ISC sensor, Plugs, Coils, Wires. Im on stock downpipe/cat. Im running DSMlink at 0 across the board because im on stock inectors. I have an uprgraded pump 255hp walbro and a 16g at 12psi.
 
Of course it's messing up your performance. Exhaust needs to flow to work properly and although there's holes, blockages will cause excess backpressure which is bad for the turbo and the motor.

i tried taking the bolts on both sides of my cat to see wahts wrong, and they just stripped. I used an impact wrench with ALOT of WD-40 and a little hammer to makesure the socket was perfectly seated on the rusted ass bolt. It just doesnt budge, its like welded on .
 
HAHA, yea its been a really long time. Why dont you just drive you hunk-a-junk over here and we can both look at it. ;)
