warped head? resurface?

i warped my head... blew 2 head gaskets :thumbdown so can i resurface the head and have everything be fine? or do i need a new head? how much does it cost to resurface, vs. buying a new bare head and swapping out all of the goodies? can i but a new bare head from mitsu? i think someone told me to do that? dont remember

It depends on two things: how badly the head is warped, and whether or not it has been resurfaced in the past. There's a limit to how much material can be taken off of the head. Take it to a reputable machine shop, preferably one that has worked on DSM heads before, and get their opinion.
