Need Help!!!!!! Car acts funny, i could be driving along and say my rpm's are at 4000, then i mash the gas, the car sounds like its going fast, but really is not picking up any speed and the rpm gauge doesn't go up, just stays where it was. Now this is a 5-speed so its not a tranny slipping or anything. When it won't go, it dont sound like its missing or breaking up, just sounds as if i was at full throttle and flying down the street, but the car just won't pull...I also noticed it spools up reallyy fast when it does this, but then when it dont do this, it spools up normal. Now my car does this about 98% of the time i'm driving, when it doesn't do this, at idle my vaccum gauge reads 15 or 16....when my car acts like this it reads 10, 11 or 12 vaccum.....Now weather that means anything or not i don't know??? i just noticed that. I've changed the spark plugs, plug wires, mass air sensor, intake pipe, checked the turbo, i dont know what else it could be.....Any help would be GREAT....
Thanks! :)

no i haven't done one yet....could that make the rpm's stay where they're at? and not climb while full throttle ???

your clutch is slipping get a bc and turn down the boost and baby it till you get a clutch
he said his rpm's don't go anywhere. if the clutch was slipping the needle would move and the car would not while it is in gear.

oh, Read it a bit fast thought it said they go up fast. well then your guess is as good as mine :thumbdown
