(yes i searched, and found nothing exactly like my problem)

ok, for the past week or so, when im cruising around 2500rpm the car im guessing shuts off 1 or 2 cylinders and it loses almost all its power untill i let off the gas for a min, and it will go away only to return a few min later and i repeat

until just the other night i was driving down the street on a rainy night and the car just turned off out of no where, so i coasted to a side street and tried to restart it many times, it turns over fine but wont start, the next day i go to check it out and there is no spark at the coil pack when i pull the wires off

what could cause this? crank sensor?.... please help

I have this same problem...my battery, coil pack, and ignition control module were bad, and the car still won't start...if anyone else on here has any ideas as to what else causes no spark, i'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks

As far as i know spark is controlled by numerous parts working together.
Crank Sensor
Cam Sensor
Coil Pack
Ignition Module
PCM (computer)
Ignition Wire
Battery
Open or shorted wire(s) to any of the items listed above.
I'm probably forgetting something but those item control spark to some degree.

Then theres the crankwalk theory
Which will take out the crank sensor if it moves a lot.
