soo i just rebuilt my block and it's been running fine for about 500 miles then just today i'm driving it and it starts sputtering...and slowly got worse to where it felt like i was running on 3 cylinders. then as i'm driving home from work at night my radio dies...then my turbo timer starts flickering so i turn off my lights and the turbo timer light goes back to solid then slowly it dims and when i got to my house i let it idle in the drive way and it died. tried to turn it back on and it just kept clicking but wouldn't crank. also the check engine light is on but my friend has some snap on thing but it wouldn't read the code...help please i have a date tomorrow night haha.

Alternator most likely but could also be alternator fuse and/or bad battery.

Actually it could be easier than all that, first check the belt tension for if it slips badly it won't charge. They will have to get the battery charged before they can do anything if it won't start or call AAA and tow to a shop unless willing to take on the job him/her self.

Cheers,
GTM

These cars are soooooooooooo battery dependent. There are so many problems that are created by a bad or low charged battery it's unreal. Also, too much battery like a jump from another car can be deadly!
