Edit: I put the small screws in the Gas and temp, the mediums in the Tach and Speedo. I attempted putting the long screws in the oil pressure, but its not threading in...It just slides straight down? Almost like there arent any threads?

Thanks again!

Hey all -

I recently purchased reverse glow guages. I took the panel apart a while back, and I am just now putting it back together.

Here is my problem -

I can't remember where the screws go, which ones go where.

4 small ones, I am guessing for the top 2 guages, Gas and Temp.

4 Medium ones, Tach and Speedo maybe?

2 Long ones, no clue. I tried the Oil Pressure, but they just dropped in, didn't screw in or anything.

So basically, where do the long ones go and which ones go into the oil pressure?

Thanks SO much!

hello there. i just went through this so i know exactly what you mean here. ok, on the back side of the whole pod or whatever you call it, directly behind the oil guage, are 2 gold screws. remove these and carefully remove the entire oil guage and you will find a skinny rectangular plate with a hole on each end of it. put on your white guage face (if thats what youre doing) and thread your 2 long screws through where you unscrewed them and then into the little rectangular plate. screw them down snug, put your oil guage back into the "pod" then replace the 2 gold screws on the back and youre done. a note here for when you remove the 2 gold screws, do it with the guages facing in the air or your oil guage will fall out! also, be careful when removing the oil guage from the pod or it will come apart and its a little tricky to put together but if youre good at tedious things you can do this no problem.

good luck
