Well I thought I had this problem fixed but it came back after 5 months I have gone through new radiator hoses, new radiator cap, new water pump, new OEM radiator, and good long flushing, I still leak coolent. I am not sure if it is the new radiator has gone bad. I was driving home and the radator light came on I was only about 1 mile away so I kept a close eye on the temp gauge it stayed within normal ranges just like it always does. I pulled up let the car sit for a min to see if the temp would climb but it just stayed normal. So I turned off the car and poped the hood to find coolent on the top of the fans and coolent all around the bottom hose. I checked the bottem hose it was tight and no signs of leaking coolent I checked all around the top hose to find the same it was ship shape no leaks what so ever. I checked the radiator for cracks didnt see any, but there was green build up around the top end tank nearest to the passenger side, from where the top hose connects to passenger side green build up all over it. The driver side was nice and clean is it possable there is a hair pin crack I cant see? Has the end tank gone bad? Also the reservoir was empty, and when I took the radiator cap off the coolent was low by about 12oz (I used a measuring cup) :p

How about the resevoir itself? Could the tank be cracked?

It could be possible, I allways fill the resevoir back up with just regular water though. It still doesnt explain the green coolent around the lower hose, but I will definitely check the resevoir when I get home.

Thanks

I just did that a little bit ago it being so could helped out I found the leak on the top of the end tank near the green buildup. The steam trail was faint I had to use a flash lite but it was there. I know a guy at a radiator shop I will get him to see if he can fix it. checked the overflow tank as well it was soild. If it wasnt so cold I would of never saw that steam trail.
