Well, the bolt that tightens down the belt on the alternator has broken. I have it off the car, I'm going to ATTEMPT to get that metal piece with the hole in it off of the bolt, but dont know how succesful i will be, as its rusted in place pretty damn well. The head broke off of the bolt.

What/where should I go to get another one, or are there any other ways going about this?

their are two bolts that tighten down the alternator belt. which one are you talking about? the long one that sits in the front of the car or the one that goes in facing the block? if its the longer bolt i wouldnt worry about it as long as its out the the bracket. my buddies dont even have that bolt and just push down on the alternator and tighten the one that goes on the side of the engine and their belts dont squeel or anything.
