She awakes!!! Then Dies......

She's been on jack stands for four months as I was slowly putting the mods on, that are listed in my vehicle profile. timing is perfect i know it, so thats not it, old gas??? she'll turn over and idle at 2,500 rpm and then die. What's wrong here? 4g63 techies want to help? Anyone?

Check your coolant temp sensor. Might be the ecu also cause I'm having the same problems right now.

it'll run for about two or three minutes and if I let the cluth out it dies faster. it idles at 3 grand

dude i hate to say this but i just had the same problem and you say your timing is perfect noway.....
take the cap back off take off the nut for the distributor and pull it out remeber where it was cause i want you to turn it 180 degrees i garuntee it will start up fine...cept you might need plugs by now

Um.... his car doesnt have a distributor...sorry to say. I would pull you ecu and check the caps, check your fuel filter also

ok i drove it today. it drives fine, but for performance it doesn't. it knocks around and throttle responce is horrible. but im getting it tuned tomorrow after school in shop owed by a dude named Sheesa. Sheesa is the guy who is giving and installing me a fmic and piping for my old turbos i have laying around. I also have a vacum leak. But he is goig to hook up my hks tt and B ga. and A/F ga. i might get some either free of really cheap dyno tuning from Dynotuned here in madison wis. i have friends that have friends, but i dont know if it will happen, but it would be tight. Fingers crossed

ok everything is all good except for timing! oh course you guys were right. I had a 50 year old performance shop owner do it too! He owns performance plus in madison wi. dont go there! no jk. im getting a guy named sheesa to do it tonight for 75$ Ill let you know what goes down

dropped the mas on the floor and now it revs to 7 grand. but now it runs way too rich.
