Car wont start

Yeserday as I was on my way to work, I stopped by the gas station to fill her up. Jumped in the car and it didnt want to start. I thought that it was my alarm that engaged the starter interrupt, so I disarmed and same thing. I disarmed it again and my locks kept going on and off rapidly. I started to hear a clicking noise that sounded like it was coming from the steering column. Everytime I turned the key nothing would happen, lights and heater and stereo would turn on but it wouldnt crank over. After 15 minutes of trying I gave up and pushed it into a parking space and started to walk to work. My job is only 2 blocks away from the gas station. On my brake I came back pulled the fuses out of my alarm and then it cranked and started up with ease. Drove back to work and locked my doors but they unlocked by themselves. I kept trying to lock them but they kept on unlocking themselves. Couple minutes later the were going crazy unlocking and locking, and kept hearing the same clicking noise coming from the steering coulumn. Now it wont start and the alrm is disconected. Anbody have any idea why it is doing this? I need help ASAP!

Time to pull the ecu and check the caps.

I already pulled the ecu and it looks like its in pretty good condition. I also checked the battery at work (pepboys) and the tester said that it was bad . I got a new battery installed it , but it still wont crank. Im going to try to check the starter tomarrow. The only problem is that I cant get underneath the car to remove the lower battery bracket bolts. I tried to pull it into the shop to check it out, but they wont let me. I have to pay them so they can diagnose it.

I just replaced the starter earlier and she cranked right up. I freakin releived that it works now. The bottom battery tray bolts are a beeatch to take off. everything else wasnt to bad.
