I have a 92 Talon Tsi (auto :-() and was lookin through these forums and couldnt really find any diagnosis about this problem im having. Well my car sounds and runs good until i get up to speed and for some reason, under hard acceleration starting at like 55-60mph, there is...like, road noise, like a truck with big tires on it would sound like going down the road from the driverside rear wheel. I dont know if its audible outside of the car, but inside its pretty loud. I really dont know if its the wheel bearing because when i jacked my car up, there isnt any play in the wheel. Any comments would be appreciated :thumb:

Cant seem to find the source of the problem...now a new one exists..was doing donuts in the snow and for some odd reason now..my car pulls to the right hardcore. Hope i didnt break something :thumbdown

have you checked your alignment? it could be that you hit something and hit the alignment off... and doing the doughnuts.....maybe it triggered it to be worse?? not sure.. all i know is that in the winter it is easy to screw up your alignment by hitting stuff...especially where i live... i hope i helped a little bit.. i saw that no one else posted.

well i did jack it up, cant seem to find anything to be bent or worn, but the main reason for my post was because i was wondering if anyone had any problem with somekind of noise from the driver side rear wheel when accelerating over 50mph? As for the allignment, i think it may have just been the snow/ice collected up in the wheel and wheel well, thanks for the input.
