Alright I installed my new 6 puck sprung hub clutch and 2100lb ACT pressure plate, here is the deal...i can fully let out the clutch in first gear and the car does not stall at all what so ever but sometimes it does :thumbdown , also i wont even get close to full boost in 2nd and its slipping before 3500  ...i tried adjust the clutch rod but it wont turn, i dont have a wrench small enough to turn it....im puzzled on what to do?

well here's the deal i acutally did not install the clutch and plate, the car was bought from a graduated college student and the clutch and plate were already installed and when i first bought the car on the way home it would slip in 5th, i figured the car needed a new clutch but this clutch was installed less than 10k miles ago...also the rod will not move at all unless i can get a wrench small enough also if the clutch engages it engages so high its rediculous

sorry might be a dumb question, but did you check the fluid level? It could be that your master or slave cylinder could be going out...

i figured it could be my master or slave because the car does have about 100k on it...fluid looks good

It is not your master or slave cylinder. If either of them went out, the clutch would not disengage, that is, it would drag, you wouldn't be able to push it into 1st gear, it would grind when you tried to get reverse from a stop, hard to shift between gears, etc.

I am not familiar with your partiuclar setup, but it is possible that the clutch is not adjusted properly. I would find the correct adjustment procedure somewhere and start with that. If that doesn't fix it, then you probably have a clutch disk or pressure plate issue and the tranny is coming out.

yeah the car doesnt have a problem changing gears at all, its just ill let out the clutch in first and the revs only drop a little past idle but does not stall, also the engagement point is really high, but still i cant turn the adjustment rod with my hand and i do not have a small enough wrench...like i said

Ahh so the clutch is adjusted too tight, gonna have to loosen that rod and get the pressure off the clutch as it's not releasing it all the way.

yeah because i can take my hand a pull the clutch about a 1/4 of an inch and then the car will stall.....i figured on my setup with only 14psi on a 16G shouldnt slip this much, i havent even had the chance to pull a good one to two shift off yet its slipping so much :dsm:, any suggesting on what i can use to get that thing loose

^ doesnt read very well...ive already been there i said i cannot turn the rod by hand....and i do not have a wrench small enough to turn it either

What it sounds like to me is that the guy that installed the damn thing put the pedal too low and the hydraulic system can't equalize the pressure because the plunger in the master cylinder doesn't go back far enough and the system "pumps up". Back the cruise switch/clutch pedal stop all the way until the pedal is stopped by the piece that the switch is screwed into and see if it improves pedal feel. The engagement point should drop back to where it is normally, then follow normal clutch pedal adjustment procedures.
If I remember right, I turn the rod counter-clockwise to lengthen the rod and move the engagement point up, and clockwise to back the rod out and move the engagement point down. There's a flat point on the adjustment rod that's PERFECT for a mini-adjustable wrench. I suggest investing in a one as they have many uses around the car.
When the hydraulic system pumps up in this way, the clutch can have a tendency to slip because it does not disengage all the way.
