well i have had my n/t 2.0 talon fwd 96 for about a year with no problems. it has 87,000 miles
A few days ago When i was driving down the free way I tried shifting into first from 5th while keeping the clutch held in because i was started to notice it was getting harder to shift and met resistance , I pressed harder on the clutch when i felt a pop and the clutch lost all resistance and went to the floor. I pulled over and then realized I couldn't get it into gear while the car was on(i could after turning the car off). I had to be towed home. I look at the fluid level for the clutch and saw that it was low. about mid-level. I was looking at it today and i started it in first with no clutch it went forward and died. After that i could put it into gear. So I drove around the neiborhood and realized it was acting like i was not letting go of the clutch until i went to about 4-5k rpms. I only tried getting it into 3rd. I took it home and have bled the clutch system but until there are absolutely no bubbles left( i think i am doing right but i'm not too confident). It still acts the same, i don't notice the level of clutch fluid going down. I looked around the master and slave cylinder to see if there were any leaks but i could not see any obvious ones. Yes i have used the search button too see if other solutions could fix my problem but as of yet they haven't.Any ideas? Should i go ahead and buy a new master cylinder and slave cylinder? what else can i try?

Go ahead and change the master. I had the same problem with mine until one faithful day it gave up on me and lead to a whole chain of events. start with that. Also it might be a bad flywheel. When my clutch pedal started to stick to the floor and lost all types of pressure, my flywheel insert was badly worn down and need to be replaced. ( I have a aasco alum). Make sure you get this fixed quick. I hesitated and ended up snapping my slave cylinder, my heavy duty clutch fork, and all of my seals in the hydralic lines blew. I'm sure you would rather spend a couple a hundred dollars rather then a $1000

Check for leaks again. It's got to be either the Master, Slave or the rubber hose if 420a's have one.

OK I have replaced the slave cylinder and the master cylinder and i am still having the same problem. Any idea what else i can try?
