need advice!

ok soo i'm on my first date with some girl n my car just shuts off in the middle of the road...tow it to my friend's shop n the oil filter just falls off i think at that moment was the stupidest i'd ever felt in my life. so n e wayz we did a comp test n it was 120 120 70 110 ... soo then we try squirtin a lil oil down there n crank it over but it still wont start up should i try n spray some of that quick start in there? because i figured the rings are stuck inside the pistons so i need to heat it up so they expand. n it sux because i just got the car and it's in rele good condition + my friend just offered to sell me his 1g gsx for $2000 so right now i'm tryin to sell my car where ever i can for 1400obo. u think i can get that or should i jez drop it to 1000 n cry untill i get my gsx? any advice is appreciated. spencer

If the oil filter fell off, I assume there wasn't much oil left in the motor. After you put some oil in there, what were your compression numbers? I would be a little worried. What happened to the girl? :laugh:

uhm, your car might be worth 1400, but you didn't tell use the rest of its condition. Compression in cylynder 3 is pretty bad too.
Why spend a 1000, to get another car? When you can save a 1000 and rebuild yours?
Also I think this is in the wrong section too.

that is with oil in it...around 3 quarts. soo spend a thousand to fix my gst rather than sell my car n buy a gsx with a rebuilt tranny, je pistons n eagle rods. an the girl is still on the jock. she felt sorry for me that it happened to me because i guess her car dies on her all the time soo atleast she wasn't some spoiled brat
