ok... got a 92 laser RS Turbo.... with an idle problem. When the car is cold, when you first start it up, it doesn't hold an idle, it wants to die. To keep the car running you have to give it some gas and hold it until it warms up a bit. When the car finally warms up.... it idles just fine! I had the caps in the computer replaced already. Any ideas???

What does it idle at once the engine warms up?
Does the engine idle up when you turn on the AC?
Has the coolant lines to FIAV been bypassed?
Do you have a datalogger to check for codes and look at the outputs of the various sensors like the engine coolant sensor.

got it fixed... the green wire connected to the throttle body broke off by the TPS sensor... put a new connector on it... works great!! :thumb:

Idles at about 750-800 once warmed up

idle increases when I turn on the AC

No coolant lines are bypassed

Coolant sensors look fine, both on the logger and the dash

o2 volts dont' seem to move very much, but would that cause a cold start problem? It's fine once its warmed up.
