Red Deer,
My car is burning oil, when its fully warm (at half) and I press on the throttle I get blue smoke, its not very blue but you can definitely notice it. At idle is not too bad but its a bit less blue (still blue though) Also my oil consumption is quite bad, every two weeks I've got to add about a half litre of oil. Cars got 180 straight compression and the spark plugs are not fouled at all. I don't recognize any loss in power, my 2nd gear has also been the fastest and still is. The tip of my exhaust has a lot of oil on it which is obviously not normal.
Also forgot to mention, the car starts very well, I turn the key and it starts like a pro very little crank needed even in the cold weather no misfiring!
Would the valve seals be toast? Do I need a valve job done? I am hoping its not the rings! ahh.. car has 88000 miles and is a NON-TURBO 1995.
