heres the deal, im driving to work today which is two minutes from my house when i realize there is absolutely no oil pressure. the pressure sensor is hooked up and my dummy light has also never worked. my dad said there was a chance it could be my oil pump but it would be making a weird noise if that was it. any answers or guidance would be greatly aprreciated. thanks in advance guys.

Check your oil level. If it's good, my bet is you have a bad connection at the oil pressure sending unit, or the wire fell off. Looks like an upside down bell on the oil filter housing, with a single wire running off it. If the wire becomes loose, or dirty, you won't make good contact and your gauge won't read anything. Otherwise, if you had NO oil pressure, your motor would be dead by now, or best case scenario, making really bad noises.
