im just wondering how low your compression will go before your car starts to smoke. my compression is 145, 130, 135, 140 and i smoke at idle pretty good. its definitely blueish oil smoke as well. I was just wondering if this compression was enough to cause it to smoke like this or if i should look into valve seals and all first. im gonna replace the pcv as well and run an oil catch can in the hosing to try and stop some of it.

so when did you start smoking and what was your compression?

Do a leakdown test. Compression tests doesn't tell you where you're losing compression, only the ability of the cylinder to seal.
