Sup fellas, I got this problem thats driving me nuts. When my car is in first gear, and i give it gas, not a little, but a good amount of gas, i get this horrible noise from my right from wheel well. I have an o2 dump as well, and this noise is ####in just as loud and as annoying.

I had wheel works check it out and its not drivetrain related, its not any axels, bearings, or cv joints. I dont think its motor mounts, so i dont know what it is.

Everytime i boost in first gear hard, i get the noise. The best way to describe the noise is, it sounds like something is hitting everytime either the axel or wheel makes a full revolution, but its got nothing to do with the wheel. So the sound gets quicker and louder the faster i go in first.

which means its either a turbo problem, perhaps a wastegate problem, or something is touching something else and no mechanic can find out what it is. Its only in first gear under boost, and 2nd gear as soon as i shift into 2nd and give it gas.

It seems to make the noise under heavy torque, hence 1st and begenning of 2nd gear, and not any other gears. All my mods are displayed on my profile.

I just got new 18 inch rims and tires too, but i doubt that has anything to do with it. Please someone help me

ya but would that create a repeating thud noise under boost that gets faster as the rpms rise?

Ive never heard of sucha noise from under my car before, its something that has to do with torque, or something, cause thats only when it does it, is under hard boost/torque.

If it's only in first gear your first gear could be going out.

One way to test it is to put it in first red line it and drop the clutch. If the tranny blows up that's probably what was wrong.
Just kidding that might not be good. :D

Take it from me jack up the car and check your carrier bearings. Itll take you ten minutes.

Not to bring a old thread back or anything but, did you ever fix your problem mccurdy? And if so what was it?
