alright guys, tried to install the ole scm61 today and ran into some problems with the turbo outlet being really close to my motor mount. I bought the 90 degree elbow but that wont even fit on it. Do i need to get some custom piping made? or could i rotate the compressor housing and make it work that way? if so which bolts do i need to loosen to rotate it and is there anything to be careful of when doing this? i put some pics to show the problem area and also one showing the different bolts on the different parts if someone could circle one of the bolts on the part i need to loosen that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

its not letting me upload the pics right now for some reason, will add them later if needed

i just installed mine today. I just cutted the outlet a bit and welded a 90 degree elbow...but you can rotate the housing a bit, it would affect the wg but thats why it is adjustable

You need to rotate the housing for it to fit. Just loosen the 5-6 bolts on the intake side of the turbo. Then, all you have to do is rotate.

You will most likely need smaller fans because the piping is now going to hit your OEM ones.

thanks guys, i ordered the small fans last thursday so hopefully they will get here soon. I had taken some couplers and stuff and the 90 degree elbow that came with the turbo and rigged it up to work temporarily, but im going to try and rotate the housing around today. The turbo was only putting out 14 lbs of boost though, and i read that you have to adjust the wg actuator arm rod length to adjust this up, even though i have a boost controller, is this correct? and i shorten the arm to turn up boost? thanks again guys
