Pully Noises From A/c Compressor

Got a problem im getting about.
I have a sound that is coming from around the A/C compressor pulley that sounds like when brake pads rub against a rotor. the sound does speed up when i accelerate and let it idle. Kinda also diagnosed this at night

When it gets light out, make sure it's not the harmonic balancer. They tend to fail much more often than AC compressor clutches do. Us a piece of vacuum hose to get near where the noise is coming from.

Turned out to be the compressor :laugh: I got under the car and noticed very tiny metal sliver on the inside on the compressor pulley where metal has/is hitting metal and confirmed it by rotating the blade assembly inside the pulley. and when ever I turned the compressor on then off it would make the same noise.
