Crankwalk?

I think I have crankwalk on my 6 bolt. I'm have clutch problems, disengagement and slippage. And when the clutch peddle is press the flywheel moves. I'm pretty sure it's crankwalk but I don't want to believe it.

Does your clutch pedal stay on the floor when you turn left? Check out VFAQ for a procedure on how to check end play real easy. Or take off the oil pan and measure it with a feeler gauge. If you caught it easly enough you can swap out thrust bearings and be ok, is this a recently rebuilt engine?

No it's got over 155k on it so im pretty sure the thrust are gone. My oil pan is not coming off, it's being a real pain, but when I get it open i'll know for sure. The peddle doesn't stay on the floor, but the whole pp, clutch, and flywheel move when the peddle is pushed.

eh this happened with my friends 1g after he put in a 2600. What happeend was we didn't have the correct bolts for the tranny. So I guess the tranny wasn't flush against the block and so whenever we pushed on the clutch pedal, the t-case rubbed against the flywheel. Got the right bolts and now the tranny doesn't move at all. We also noticed the shiter was really odd, wouldn't go into first and 2nd would grind really bad. Found out it was just the shifter cable mount on the tranny, it was missing a rubber washer and was causing the cables to have some play.
