Ok, my car has been off the road for a week now.

At first it was just really hard to start up, i would press the gas all the way down to rev the motor and it would be delayed. So, I looked into it. Changed the valve cover gasket, fixed the oil leak it was causing. Replaced plugs wires, etc...

Then I noticed it was idling very rough... timing was off a bit so i fixed that. But it kept dropping out, it would idle smoothly, then just sound like it was about to die, then idle again. This problem still has not been fixed. The ECU was recently fixed, so it is not that. I DO however have very low battery. But, this is my new problem....

Today I thought "screw it" I can live with it idling roughly, I don't care. I went outside to start the car...and what do i hear but it turning over with no avail. It turns over ok, and when i turn it off...I hear this ticking noise...that you hear when you turn the key to postion 1 in the ignition. I think it is the spark plugs. So....even after i remove the key i hear this ticking.

So in summary, the car will not start now. Judging by these previous issues does anyone have ANY clue at all as to what in the hell is going on?!

The valve cover gasket leak won't have anything to do with the throttle not responding. Spark plugs don't have anything that'll tick.

You've turboed a motor not intended to be. Maybe that matters. However, check your valve timing.

uhhhhh, when did i say i turbo'ed a non turbo car?

My car is a 91 plymouth RS turbo.
