Ok... i searched the sight but stil didnt find any answers to exactly what happened to my car..... so the other night i was getting on the interstate and i went to second gear at 45 and pulled all the way into 4th gear but half way through 4th i had a big backfire so i shut it down... put it into 5th and it drove fine. got up to my exit and noticed a lot of smoke in the engine compartment and then i stopped and had oil all over the exhaust mani and the valve cover. the next day when i got home i double gasket my oil cap and got a new dipstick and no more oil. but now i got white/blue tint smoke out my exhaust but only after a hard accelleration. (not while accellerating but when i let off the gas) car stil runs and drives fine. changed oil and coolant and no mixing in either of them. little bit of oil on the plugs but no more than before this happened. so what did i do? blown turbo... or something worse? im gonna check the shaft play tonight but i wanted to see what you guys thought about it. oh yeh and theres no funny noises in the engine but the exhaust seems a lot rougher and more popping.. please help me cause im confused..

well if u have oil on your spark plugs that usually mean ur rings are worn and too much oil is getting past the rings. That would also cause the blue smoke. When u had smoke all over the motor u probalby blew the dipstick becasue that is the easiest way for the motor to relieve the excess pressure, try getting a new pcv valve and a valve breather...

i bought the new pcv valve, and i checked the breather and its not clogged or anything and i think thats better now for the most part... but its not like theres a lot of oil on the plugs..... and smoke is only when i let off the accellerator..

i just went and checked my turbo and theres very slight to none shaft play but there was oil in my intake and inside the compressor.... does this mean its blown?
