WTF 90 Talon timing\ignition problems...
Ok, so I have a 90 Talon, 2.0 Turbocharged, and it's been giving me problems out the @$$ since I bought the thing. First off it needs a new T.p.s., then it was giving me a code that something was wrong with the injectors. Now this morning IF it does crank, it surges in about 500 rpm increments for about 30 seconds, then it will die. Anyone have any clue of what this things problem is? Any help is much appreciated.

oh yeah, by the way, everytime is surges a clicking noise can be heard comming from under the dash

You will need to pull the ECU from its home under the center console behind the stereo. Once removed open the case and the check the board for any kind of leakage from the caps. Either shop for a ECU or buy the cap replacement kit and take it to a television/computer shop to solder them in.

ok, im looking at the board in the ecu and i dont see anything that looks like it's leaking.
Anyone care to copy the photo and circle where im supposseed to be looking? Help is MUCH appreciated
