Vancouver,
it's on a 98 Eclipse GST Spyder...

my oil pressure gauge needle doesn't work at all. i checked the oil, and the levels are fine.

i did notice that there's a plug hanging out (more like ripped out) below my engine oil dip stick when i look underneath my car. it's really oily and greasy... i am thinkint this thing was used to monitor my oil pressure.

can anyone help me out here? what new part i neeed?

thank you!!

that connects to the oil pressure regulator, i had the same problem i used a paperclip (or something like it) and twisted it around where it shoudl be connected, im too lazy to look for pics now but it should be a wire with a plastic clip pointing towards the back of the car, it hooks up to a sender unit (it slides on top of it) sorry my explainations suck, but look under there u should see it, its near the alternator i believe

I had a problem that everytime I launched she'd fall off. So I just zip tied her up. Now I think its too tight because she's reading high all the time.
