trouble removing tranny from block help me out

removed motor from 1g gsx all trannsmission bolts removed and transmission still will not seperate from block, trien prying them apart for hours and its pissen us all off :mad:

Auto or stick? if it's an auto, I'd reccomend removing the torque converter bolts (but matchmark the flexplate and the torque converter so that you can put it back on right)

Also, is the starter out? that has bolts to the bell housing usually :) uhmm... lets see... that's all I can think of at the moment.
 
ok if its stick, can u pry it at all??
ive once forgot about the small ass 10 mm bolt on the front of the tranny.. had it like enarly off but it wont come off with this one small ass bolt attached...
try tapping it with a hammer here and there and everywhere
 
If you can't pry it off, you forgot a bolt. You're lucky you didn't break anything.

Is the transfer case off. Is the small bolt in the back above the transfer case out? Is the small bolt by the turbo out? Is the starter out?

You get the idea. ;)
