I guess I just noticed, over the passed few days my car was starting to idle kind of lumpy, immediatly a bit of paranoa kicked in cause I bought a bosst controller the day before, but it wasn't that. It would only turn on when my air conditioning was on, so I was like WTF?? I looked under the hood examining the pulleys, and belts, any thing that was moving, and I got pissed, just then the secondary fan turned on and the car started hoppin around again. Low and behold I turn the car off to look at the fan, and the tips of the blades had melted completely off and they were all curled in, I'll try and get some pics up tomarrow, my digi is gone right now.

Any way, i guess I am in the market for a fan, preferably one with alluminum fan blades, LOL. What do you guys think, should I just replace the fan, or go all out for the slim lines. And if you say slim line fans, could you recomend some place that has them for under 350 bucks, those sob's are expensive, shit. Thanks,

Chris.

First, be in the market for heat shields.
If I knew then what I know now sorta thing. I thought it would be good idea to keep the manifold cooler, later to find out the latter. Is there any one making an aftermarket shield? there is no way I am gonna try and install the stocker one, those things are a beeyoch to take on and off.....
