The infamous noise of bolt that came out while I was driving

It happened last night on the way home.

The idle is still fine, but when I come on to the boost(at part throttle 30-40%) it's either pulling timing or bogging down like it's rich or lean.

The mods are:
walbro 255
1g spoolinup AFPR on 1g rail.
B&M fuel pressure gauge on fuel filter
Stock 450cc injectors
S-AFC
T-25
AGP-FMIC
turboback exhaust

I was thinking about trying to mess with the afc to see if it would bog less if I make it richer or leaner.

I'm just not sure what could have came off that would only affect boost performance but idle is still fine.

I didn't think to check that. I'll look at later on my break.

thanks Brian.

I was under the impression a boost leak would pull performance but not timing

maybe try lean/richening it +-5% to see if it helps...

Well the BISS is still there and I thought maybe the adjusting nut on the AFPR came off but that was still there also.

When I can actually drive it after work in I will try to lean/richen to see if I can get it to go away.

IC couplers are good to go, John?

A quick check this morning said yes and the fact it still idles fine says yes but I will check again in the next 30min.

I only have 4 couplers and they are all good.

Another thing I didn't think off until I sat down at my desk was in my UICP close to the throttle body I have a 1/8 inch NPT plug that I used to plug a hole I had drilled for when I had my propane kit. I'll have to see if maybe that backed out.

I have to lean out the afc 5-10% for it to clear it up a little which led me to believe the MAS is reading the air and adding fuel but it's escaping before getting in the motor so it's running to rich.

Time for a leak test. :p

As I suspected the 1/8 NPT plug backed out so there is now an 1/8 hole in my UICP air is escaping from...LOL

This time I will locktite the son-of-a-bi*** :D
