Ok guys I'm really getting irritated with my random missfire... I've changed out plugs and wires and it still comes back.. It just does it out of the blue sometimes 5 times a day, sometimes once a week.. However it always goes away when i reset the ecu.. I pulled the codes on it and the only two that pop up after the missfire are 1105 and 303... i think thats the codes anways... at any rate I have a 1g head conversion so I also have a 1g coil pack. is it possible that the coil just decided to go back?

could very well be the coil pack. Usually though when a coil pack goes bad, it takes out 2 cylinders ie: 1&3, or 2&4. Have you checked your ECU caps yet?

probably the coil. i had a bad crack in mine when i bought it and it usually missfired at low rpms. i swapped it out and it runs great. look for residue on the inside of the plastic connection of your coil pack. dirt or other substances can cause the spark to try and go the shortest route, which is not to the wire. take out the pack to get a good look at it and look for visible marks. clean it and put it back in. see if that helps.
