New turbo, new problem. Temp related

I got a little overzealous tonight and went screaming up a bridge at full boost after a turbo install. I drove around for about 15 minutes before hand and everything seemed fine and there were no leaks. After the rip up the bridge, the temp gauge was about 1/4 higher than normal and after pulling over and popping the hood, I found coolant on the right-bottom side of the valve cover and a lot of it right around the right hand side of the exhast manifold right above the bracket for an engine hoist. I drove back home and all seemed well except for the temp gauge was just slightly higher than usual. I pulled in the garage and popped the hood. No more coolant had spilled or shot out but there was a boiling noise from the upper radiator pipe so that's no good. There still didn't seem to be any leaks from the turbo and I can't tell where the coolant came from yet.
Along with the turbo today I changed the thermostat, coolant, oil, filter, the parts to install a 16G style turbo, and some energy suspension bushings.
The number one thing I'm worried about is the coolant. I used the Prestone extended life orange stuff. I also did a flush and ran water through the engine a few times before adding the new stuff. I changed the thermostat with a Napa part because there's no Mitsu dealer in my area. Could the orange Prestone stuff or the Napa thermostat be my problem?

Only other things I could think of is I used 5W-30 rather than 10W-30 because I bought the wrong bottles in a rush. I don't think that would cause any problem like this though... I also dropped the turbo and it put a dent in the oil filter about 1 inch long but oil pressure was sufficient and it doesn't look bad enough to obstruct flow.

The car runs perfectly smooth and pulls like a raped ape while under boost. Idle is perfect and everything else seems perfect except for the temp going a little wild.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated :thumb:

For the record I added coolant started the car shut it off and added more. I'm going to do it again tomorrow after it's all cooled off again just to make sure there's no air hiding in there (I think there is).

ok forget this problem... I'm an idiot and instead of turning the boost all the way down on my MBC, I turned it all the way up (It was dark and the bulb in my boost gauge died). So after making an extremly STUPID mistake that could have caused me a lot of damage, I'm good now :thumb:
