I've just installed an apexi afc, but my idle is surging up and down between 300rpm-1.5k. Can anyone tell me if this is a symptom of running too rich/lean? How do you find the right points?

If you don't have a logger to see your O2 values than you need to get one or have a good shop with a wideband tune your car, untill then I would leave all the settings at 0 (factory setting) at let the ecu do it's job.
If you do have a logger just take your time and follow these directions and do a lot of reading up on tuning, as for the surging, I know this if I have my low 1000 thou point set at +45-+50 (very rich) mine will surge a little.

Tuning is not easy, it takes time and patience :dsm: :thumb: :talon:
