I took my rear caliper off and saw the piston had two grooves. I've seen the same thing on Ford's. Is there a special tool needed to screw in the piston or what?

Yes there is, go to Autozone, give them a deposit, they give you the tool, use the tool, take it back, get your money back!RandyJr said:I took my rear caliper off and saw the piston had two grooves. I've seen the same thing on Ford's. Is there a special tool needed to screw in the piston or what?
Agreed.....always keep your tits aligned...Defiant said:They screw in. Anything from bent-nose needlenose pliers to a thin-shanked screwdriver will work. Once started, you should be able to get them most of the way in with your fingers. Be sure when you're done that they line up properly for the tits on the backs of the pads.
