Exhaust Rattling

I have a 95 mitsubishi eclipse and the exhaust has a rattling sound to it when I start the car an it sometimes makes that sound once it gets warmed up. What do you guys think the problem might be? DO I HAVE TO REPLACE IT OR IS SOMETHING CLOGGING IT UP??

I had the same problem. One of the shields around the exhaust pipe (back near the fuel tank) had worked itself loose -- I stuck a big muffler clamp around it and that put an end to the noise problem.
