hard to put in 2nd gear?? it just feels rough when i go to shift into second.....

i have a 95 gs 5spd and the car runs good, and i have a problem with my shifter....
it is kinda hard to get it into second gear and sometimes other gears.......it doesnt grind going in but it is just feels like it doesnt line up correctly........any ideas...
