saskatoon,
i've had my 92 talon tsi for 6 months now and it used to run just awsome, lately though when i'm driving down the highway everything is just fine but when i slow down or put in the clutch if it doesn't stall it stutters down to about 300rpm for an idle, i was thinkin maybe a fuel filter prob, i have no idea, i still don't know much about the car my tuning experience includes 5 chevette engines :thumb: LOL, so if someone could give me a hand thanks
:talon: all the way

huh, well its not the fuel filter. it seems only to be when my car begins to warm up, if i cruise down the highway on a cool day it's fine in the city for a little while, otherwise it's terrible idle. i'm gettin real sick of tryin to keep it runnin every light, some one please help!

Do some reading on the air idle control motor. Failing ones have a variety of symptoms. When mine expired, the car would stall unless I kept my foot on the pedal.

ok so i finally got my wallet around to switch out the idle speed control that was 100 bucks used, still didn't help so i started rechecking all my hoses and found a huge leak on the bottom of the air line after the maf to the turbo, i replaced that hose then my air idle screw disappeared i replaced that did some adjusting and finally have a car that idles back just before winter. Thanks for the help guys
