whats this noise?

whever i drive for about 10 min my car starts sqeaking but when i apply my brakes or turn the wheel it stops. and whenever im about to stop or i let off my brake this weird noise sounds kinda like a squeaky door opening or closing . i might need brake pads but i just wanna make sure its not something else?

I would say that either your brake pads are worn out or the shims around them are bent and rubbing against the disk. It could also be your wheel bearings going bad if you hear it at low speed. Try and isolate the sound to either the front or rear and then what side and take a look.
