well i bought an upper intercooler pipe from dejon tool and in order to use with stock bov you have to port the opening of bov to the little hole on the side...right? well i did this and when i finished i blow it all off with air gun and i think i got to close to the little hole. because at first it opened the poppet valve...then i tryed it again and i heard a pop and all that happens now is air passes through the vacuum hook up on top.... did i break it? do how do i test the stock blow off valve on the 1g? bypass valve whatever you want to call it

please help...i heard some one say that i could have blown the diaphragm please let me know what you guys think i can't just hook it up to the car and test it that way(as for i haven't finished my car yet) but i was planning on testing it with a vacuum tester....how much pressure should it take to open the bypass valve it is working properly

thanx again

i believe it is somewhere around 8 in Hg. I am not absolutely sure on this though.

If you used unregulated shop air it is deffinately possible you blew the diaphram.
