New T3/T4 Blew up HELP!!

I got a t3/t4 from ebay for $300 BRAND NEW. I also got the bullseye housing to make it a direct bolt on a a oil install kit from diamond star motorsports. Here is the problem. I got the whole thing on a i went to boost it and herd this scraping so went home and looked and the compressor wheels were scraping. Plus the car never made hardly any power with this turbo. I took the oil line off and there was oil. So i thought that maybe i should try it from the head to feed the oul in the turbo. I drove it for a little bit and now the turbo has TONS OF SHAFT PLAY AND NO BOOST AT ALL. ITS BLOWN. Its brand new. I did make sure the car had oil pressure before i started it by pulling the injectors fuse. Now i dont know what to do cause everything seemed good at time of install. Maybe the turbo itself was junk. It is suppose to be BRAND NEW AND DID LOOK IT. It is from E-bay and i thought $300 was sorta cheap for a Stage 3 50trim housing 57trim wheel.
ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS CAUSE I AM SO UPSET THAT THE BRAND NEW SETUP IS BLOWN ALREADY

Yea it sounds like you got a bad turbo - remember if its too good to be true, it probably is. Since it happened so quickly my guess would be that it was WAY off balance. I doubt it was brand new, how hard is it to make something look new - not that hard. Good luck getting your money back tho, they can always say it was from improper installation

No doubt. I just wanted to make sure that it was not something that i did wrong. I checked to make sure that i had oil pressure and i did, and everything seemed good. There was no shaft play at all until i put the thing on. A friend of mine said that they prob. cleaned a used one up and did not put the snap rings in the bearings in correct.
I am not sure what to do.

You bought a 300 dollar turbo from an Ebay vendor, that's what's wrong. In this life almost everything is "you get what you pay for" and when you pay less than half of what a product is supposed to cost it should raise some eyebrows. More than likely some guy cleaned up a used one and sold it to you as "BRAND NEW, IN BOX, NEVER BEEN OPENED!!!" and you got hosed on the deal. So good luck trying to get your money back. although neither you or I expect you to. And always remember these words "Mod cheap, mod twice".

so where can i find a good reasonable priced t3/t4 with a stage 3 Turbine wheel.
