we installed a act 2100, xact flywheel, new slave and new master, along with 6 bolt, and 16g turbo....it gripped great the first couple times driven and then day 2 it started just loosing power and slipping like a mofo.... its almost undrivable....as soon as the turbo kicks in it starts slipping....wtf went wrong...thers no oil leaks, as in rear main that could have gotten on the clutch that tranny is such a bi*** to take out....what the hell went wrong.???? HELP!

yea its a 2g....we'll try that later i gues....but what would cause it to grip so well at first and then start slipping after just a short while?

you have to break in clutches before you can really boost or get on them.....dont even think about sliping it if you havent broken it in yet....hope you didnt glaze it...that would suck

scott

your master is not adjusted incorrectly like spidey said
your not uncovering the compensating port in the master cylinder
check there is no load on the master cylinder piston when released. OMG

I just installed a 2100 and ACT flywheel too. My clutch would start to engage about maybe 1/2" or so off the floor, which is like how my old clutch was.

After a while though the pedal got stiff uptop (fluid build up?). So I readjusted the stopper and rod and everything seems ok now. Just still breaking it in...

Wierd thing is now I have more play then I want up topm but it's enageing at a nice point and disenageing completely (because the play at the top of the pedal????) so I'm gonna leave it as is for now.

I had a question in the reply

I thought I got a good answer but when I checked it was a off the wall comment.

Instead of starting a new thread I added onto this one because I'm having similair problems.
