shifter lights (auto)

If I could remember, the day when i bought my car, when I put my gear in Drive, the light comes on for the "P R D 2 L" area. But now it's not lighting up anymore.

Correct me if i'm wrong but is the light suppose to come on? And if so, mine has stopped, how do i fix it?

Yes it should come on but only with the taillight relay on (which means your lights need to be on). You know it could just be burned out (or your taillights aren't working).

yea it sounds like your lights arnt on or that the bulb is just burned out in the cluster or that the fuse for the taillight relay is blown, easy to replace just take ouf the dash piece in front of the cluster, unscrew the cluster and puller it out, find out witch light is bad and replace it...i dont kno what light you shuld get cuz i have a 1g but it should be the same for gettin the cluster out...hope this helps
