I am in the process of replacing my O2 sensor but I had to buy a universal one. Could anyone give me the wiring diagram for a 95 talon TSI AWD? The wire colors are black, white, red and yellow. Thanks ina dvance for any help you may be able to provide.

I'm looking at a 99 Eclipse manual but they should be the same I would think. The front sensor connector is square and with the keying edge up:
upper left is red (thicker wire)
upper right is black
lower left is yellow
lower right is white

The rear sensor connector is rectangular and with the keying edge up from left to right it is white, black, red (thicker wire), yellow/black.

I should have been more specific. I need to know which wire is the signal wire, what wires are the warming circuit and which wire is the ground. Thanks for the reply.

Yes specifics are ALWAYS the biggest problem here.
Red and yellow are the heater wires with yellow going only to the ECM.
White is the signal wire that goes only to the ECM.
Both red and black go to many other sensors.
None of the wires are ground but there is a shield around the black and white wires that connects to ground.

Ok with that said my O2 sensor has the following wires:
2 White wires that are for the heating element. According to the instructions polarity is unimportant with them. So, that should take care of the yellow and red wires.
Then the signal wire (black on my 02 sensor) will be connected to the black AND white, correct? Then the ground on the O2 sensor is NOT used? Sorry for all the questions but after driving around a couple days with no functioning O2 sensors and using 1/4 tank of gas to drive to class and another 1/4 tank on the way home I really need ti get this working. Thanks for all the help.

First remember I'm looking in a 99 Eclipse turbo manual so there's a possibility your 95 may be different (but probably not).

Your white sensor wires are the heaters and yes polarity is unimportant so you can hook them up to the red and yellow wires either way. Your sensor must have 4 wires yes? You just mentioned black and how do you know it's the signal wire? Unless the directions said it was, I would think the other wire, whatever color it is, would be the signal wire. But go with the directions and use whatever wire they say to use for the signal wire. Hook the sensor signal wire up to ONLY the white wire. Hook the other sensor (which is the signal return) wire up to ONLY the black wire (this wire is common to many other sensors and also goes to the ECM, but it is not connected to ground on a DSM even though the directions may say it is ground - they just mean it's the signal return - on other cars it may be connected to ground but DSM uses differential signals so it isn't). Polarity will be important with these 2 wires. If you get it backwards you probably won't hurt anything, it just won't work.

Here's a link to address some non-wiring issues you may want to look at also: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98880

The diagrams also show that these 2 wires are in a shielded cable. This shield is what is connected to ground through another black wire (not the one in the sensor). So if you see a black wire coming out of the cable (not the connector), that is what should be connected to ground - you might not see it as it may be somewhere else along the cable.
