I've been busy as hell the past month, and have no time to do an oil change. So, i take my car to the local 76 to get it done real quick before i go to work. They usually do a good job and it only cost $15 with my own oil and filter. So, i get my car and go to work and have no problems. Then i get off of work and head over to my other job, and start to notice a burnt oil smell but i figure its just another car around me. I get to my other job and i see smoke coming out from under the hood. I pop the hood and low and behold the feckin oil cap is sittin' there on my valve cover, and theres oil all over my engine!!!!
Damn 76!!! I lost about a quart of oil so i added more. I check my dipstick this morning to make sure everything is all gravy, and i cant get a proper reading on it. Theres oil all the way up the stick. Will the oil in the dipstick tube descend back into the engine eventually or do i have a bigger problem that i gotta deal with? Oh yah, the car runs a lil sluggish now. Plz help!!
