Crank and bearings.

Hey, I bought a motors from a dsm owner and got ripped off, he said it had 14k on it and showed no sign of crankwalk, i got the engine more then 50k miles and crankwalk 15 minutes after i drive it... well.. now i have an automatic and i cannt afford the welding and the chopping up of a torque converter for a 6bolt, so i am oging ot need a new crank and bearings, where do i get these

how do you know it had 50k+ on it all the sudden? Check the classifieds .. someone was selling a machined crank and bearings on there a while back I thought.

So your are looking to get a new 7 bolt crank, try one of the many auto parts store or even the local machine shops in your area, I don't think you want to buy one from the dealer unless you like taking it in the butt. Personally I wouldn't just put a new crank in that block unless you made sure the mains are straight and all match in size, crank walk has a way of destroying things like that.

the mechanic could tell by looking at the engine it had more then 50k on it, i could even tell there was more then 14k. im just trying to fix the engine , if i have to buy mains, a crank,and bearings.. i will, just need to know where to get them. i have 2 dead 7bolts now... my car hasnt run in 6 months this is all such bs.. im looking at buying a crx now i guess the good things is now i have 2 turbos, a big16g and a t25...
i wish i had bought a manual 2g.. this would of all been so much easier... my car ran for a mile.. i was soo excited...
