today i painted my valve cover and replaced the gasket so i get every thing back on and every thing dryed so i said let me take it out so i took it out and my bov got louder i have noidea why and then i lok at my egt gauge and it was a lil higher than normal then i hit and see what happens and the it went to 16 so what can i do to fix this please help

When you say 16 I am assuming 1600F. I would check to see that no vacuum hoses came loose, especially the hose that hooks onto the stock FPR. Usually if your EGT's rise that high it is because you are seeing a lot of knock.

The FPR is on the end of the fuel rail. There should be a vacuum hose that goes off of it and to a solenoid on the firewall.
