Question What size thread is the PCV valve into the valve cover?

I broke my PCV valve off in the valve cover, after I drilled it out. Must have drilled it too big. Anyway, I need a tap to re-tap the hole in my Valve cover and I just can't figure out what size it is. I know it is metric, fine thread. Anyone out there know, or can tell me where to look? Thanks.

mine's 1/8" bsp, although they may well have shoved something that size in there and effectively re-tapped it

Good luck, hope it comes out ok

Well I tried a 10mm x 1 fine thread bolt and it fit a little tight, so I don't think that is quite right. I may have to go to an auto parts store, get a PCV valve, and measure the threads on the part in order to get a tap that size? I wish someone out there had the means to measure and has the part on hand, or knew off the top of their head. Hope someone knows....

That might work if you're gonna re-tap the hole. Scroll down to the bottom of the page here.
